While duties like benefits, compliance and payroll are very important and a large part of what we do, it’s important to also see Human Resources as partners in change management. Human Resources is one of the only groups that is connected to everyone - keeping their hand on the pulse of the organization and holding the company’s culture in their hands.

Shequia has over 6 years of experience in human resources specializing in strategic HR management, performance management, employee relations, compliance and risk assessment, talent acquisition, leadership development, training, and DEI.
Shequia is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. In 2022, Shequia also obtained her Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certification from eCornell university.
Outside of her professional life, Shequia enjoys listening to audio books, attending concerts, Pilates, and spending time with her family.
